Scripture
"Let us hold unswervingly to
the hope we profess, for he
who promised is faithful."

Prayer
Almighty and merciful God,
the
fountain
of
all
goodness,
who
knowest
the
thought
of
our
hearts:
we
confess
that
we
have
sinned
against
Thee,
and
done
evil
in
Thy
sight.
Wash
us,
we
beseech
Thee,
from
the
stains
of
our
past
sins,
and
give
us
grace
and
power
to
put
away
all
hurtful
things;
that,
being
delivered
from
the
bondage
of
sin,
we
may
bring
forth
fruits
worthy
of
repentance,
and
at
last
enter
into
thy
promised
joy;
through
the
mercy
of
Thy
blessed
Son,
Jesus
Christ
our
Lord.

Our glorious hope in our risen Lord,
We should look to Him with one accord,
Victor was He, o'er death and grave,
He laid down His life, the lost to save.
For all to Him, in repentance come,
Will be rewarded with a Heavenly Home,
If we daily seek to do His will,
May we His work, for Him fulfill.
Because He lives, we too, shall live,
Is the assurance, His word does give,
The grave couldn't hold Him, and He came forth,
This fact so important and full of worth.
We know that we too, shall rise again,
Where there's no death, sorrow or pain,
To a glorious life beyond compare,
Where there is no death or earthly care.
