Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.  My name is Barbara (Beck) Davidson.  My husband and I were born and raised in North Central Kansas, married in 1970, and moved to Missouri in 1986.  In the summer of 1990, Homer and I attended a "Camino" weekend in Kansas City.  Not only was it a mountaintop experience for us but a life-changing one as well.  Through the love showered on us those 3 days, we rededicated ourselves to the Lord and by the power of God's grace were led to go into the ministry.  We have been partners now for fourteen, very fulfilling years. Our first churches, Cosby Faith UMC and Cosby Zion UMC were in Cosby, MO from 1994 - 2000.  Then we moved to St. Joseph, MO were we served at Amazonia UMC and St. Paul UMC for a time until  St. Paul became a fulltime charge.  Since June, 2008  we now live in  Lawson where Homer is the fulltime pastor at the Lawson United Methodist Church.  Homer and I have been so blessed by loving the Lord and loving His people.  (You can visit our present church via the internet on my Links page.)

The mission of my website is to glorify God in its content and share with others those things that I love and the special blessings that He has planted in my life.  Throughout "Barb's Blessings" you'll learn more about me and my family and about my passions.  All of my pages feature beautiful floral artwork, unique poetry, prayers, quotes and scripture; along with the melodic sounds of my favorite music.
